100 Percent Plumbing
Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Written in plain English, because a privacy policy nobody can read is not much of a policy.
Effective date: August 18, 2026
This policy explains how 100 Percent Plumbing (“we,” “us,” “our”) handles personal information collected through this website and in the course of scheduling and performing plumbing work. We are a locally owned plumbing contractor operating in the Nashville, Tennessee metro area, licensed in Tennessee under CMC-A #81936.
Information You Give Us
Booking an appointment. Our online scheduler is provided by Housecall Pro, a third-party field-service platform. When you book through it, you typically provide your name, service address, phone number, email address, and a description of the problem. That information goes to Housecall Pro and to us, and is handled under Housecall Pro’s own privacy policy as well as this one. We use it to schedule the visit, dispatch a technician, quote the work, invoice you, and follow up afterward.
The chat bubble. Every page carries a chat window in the bottom corner, also provided by Housecall Pro. If you open it and send a message, whatever you type goes to Housecall Pro and to us, along with the page you were on. Most people include a name and a phone number or email so we can reply. Do not send card numbers or anything else sensitive through chat: use the phone for that. If you never open the chat, it does not collect a message from you.
The contact form. If you send us a message through the form on our contact page, we collect the name, email address, phone number and message you enter. We use it to answer you, and the message is stored in our website so we can find it again. We do not add you to a mailing list from a contact-form submission.
Calling us. When you call, we take the details needed to help you: your name, address, phone number, and what is going on with your plumbing. If you leave a voicemail, we keep it until the matter is resolved.
Blog comments. If you leave a comment on an article, we collect the name, email address, and any website you enter, along with your IP address and browser user-agent string. This is standard WordPress behavior and helps us detect spam. Your email address is not published.
Information Collected Automatically
Server logs. Like most websites, our host records standard technical data when you visit: IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you viewed, and the site you arrived from. We use this for security, troubleshooting, and understanding traffic patterns.
Analytics and cookies. We use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4. Google Analytics sets cookies (typically named _ga and _ga_<id>) that help us understand how many people visit, which pages they read, and which links they use. We track two specific interactions: clicks on our phone number and clicks on the “Schedule Appointment” button. This tells us whether the site is doing its job. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors, and we do not run advertising or retargeting pixels on this site.
You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely by installing Google’s opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. The site works fine either way.
Photos of Work We Do
Our technicians document jobs with photographs, which we use for quality control, warranty records, training, and to show the kind of work we do on this website. Published photos show pipes, fixtures, equipment, and work areas.
We do not publish your street address, your name, or photographs intended to identify you or the interior of your home beyond the work area. We reference only the general area a job took place in, such as the neighborhood or city. If a photo of work at your property appears on this site and you would rather it did not, call us at 615-431-1100 and we will take it down. You do not need to give a reason.
Reviews and Testimonials
This site displays customer reviews that were published publicly on Google, Yelp, and Thumbtack. We quote them as the reviewer posted them, using the name shown on the public review. If you left a review and do not want it quoted here, tell us and we will remove it from the site.
How We Use Your Information
Scheduling, dispatching, and performing the work you asked for
Quoting, invoicing, and taking payment
Communicating about an appointment or a job in progress
Warranty and service history, so we know what we did last time
Permits and inspections, where a job requires them
Meeting legal, tax, licensing, and insurance obligations
Improving the website and understanding how people use it
We Do Not Sell Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share it only in these situations:
Service providers who run parts of our business: Housecall Pro (scheduling, invoicing, payments, and the chat window), Google (analytics and reviews), and our website host. Each handles data under its own agreement with us.
Payment processing: card payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
Permitting authorities: where a job requires a permit or inspection, we submit what the authority requires.
When the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
Calls, Texts, and Email
When you give us your phone number to book a job, we may call or text you about that job: confirming the appointment, telling you the technician is on the way, or following up on the work. These are service messages about a job you asked for, not marketing.
If we ever send promotional messages, you can stop them at any time by replying STOP to a text, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or telling us on the phone. Message and data rates may apply. Opting out of marketing does not stop service messages about an active job.
How Long We Keep It
We keep customer and job records for as long as we need them for the purpose we collected them, and after that for as long as tax, warranty, licensing, and insurance rules require. Job records and photos are generally retained so we can honor warranties and understand a property’s history on a return visit. Analytics data is retained according to Google’s settings for our account. Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely unless you ask us to remove them.
Security
This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. We limit access to customer records to people who need it to do their job, and the platforms we rely on maintain their own security programs. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise, but we treat your information as something we are responsible for rather than something we happen to hold.
Your Choices
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. You can ask us to stop sending marketing messages. You can ask us to remove a job photo, a review, or a comment. Contact us using the details below and we will respond in a reasonable time.
Some requests we cannot fully honor. We may need to keep records to satisfy tax, licensing, warranty, or insurance requirements, or to defend a legal claim. If that applies, we will tell you which records we are keeping and why.
Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights over your personal information. We will honor a valid request under any privacy law that applies to us.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging plumbing work. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to Other Sites
This site links to places like Google, Yelp, Thumbtack, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and the Tennessee license lookup. Once you follow a link away from here, that company’s privacy policy governs what happens next, not ours.
Changes to This Policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than slipped in quietly.
